Eco Sanctuary was launched in 2015 and it features residential and commercial properties such as super bungalows, bungalows, semi-detached homes, super-link houses, condominiums, and lifestyle shop offices.

The project is developed by Eco World Development Group Bhd. It is a luxury eco-themed haven with seven parcels of gated-and-guarded development, comprising 4,000 residential units.

The developer just announced that it is introducing a new brand called duduk that offers a fresh perspective on the concept of vertical living. Launched in 2020, the brand is aimed at a younger generation of urban dwellers who want easy entry to homeownership and a modern high-rise lifestyle whilst living life to the fullest. 

duduk is slated to introduce a new project called Se.Ruang D’ Eco Sanctuary which offers spacious and practical layouts with a built-up of 1,000 sq ft that comes with a semi-furnished package.  Each unit comes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with two complimentary car parks and basic smart home items. Additionally, facilities that will be offered are a swimming pool, wading pool, gym and multipurpose hall. There will also be retail shops thus providing you convenience at your doorstep. Located at the south of Kota Kemuning, Eco Sanctuary spans across 308 acres and has a gross development value (GDV) of RM8bil. It is targeted to be fully completed in 10 to 12 years. The leasehold development is a short drive from Kuala Lumpur, and it is designed to deliver a modern, green, and sustainable living environment. An extensive list of lifestyle amenities complements the development’s conservation practices and green architecture.

A white gazebo is the first structure that greets you as you enter this township. Two phases of landed properties were launched in 2015 and have been completed. Since then, more than 1,000 residential and commercial units have been handed over. All homes in Eco Sanctuary have large balconies where residents can enjoy the scenery that the developer has created.

Under the development’s beautification plan, the Central Park, and Canal Park enhances the project’s landscape. Additionally, the developer created a back garden for the houses, ranging between 9m and 46m, to enable homeowners, especially those with elderly folks, to walk around.

Various elements have been introduced to make the development more desirable and liveable. This includes the creation of digitally enabled communities and the introduction of Integrated Wellness & Care components to meet the needs of residents at every stage of their lives.

Eco Sanctuary is the first development in Malaysia to offer onsite care and wellness services. A Care Hub is located at The Parque Residences’ clubhouse, and it is operated by Aged Care Group Sdn Bhd (ACG). Eco Sanctuary Care Hub aims to manage the health and wellness of residents by offering services that help working adults who have elderly parents or young children living with them. The services include Care Management, Medication Management and a Care Concierge.

Care Hub will provide the convenience of accessing care administration and wellness services, such as a 24/7 nurse-on-call service and a care manager to attend to any care service request. The maintenance fee of about 30 sen per sq ft, includes a once-a-month free consultation for a resident of each unit by a doctor.

The Eco Sanctuary Care Hub caters specifically for the residents of The Parque Residences, and eventually Artezza. Taking its commitment further, EcoWorld signed memorandums of understanding with ACG and Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital (KMUH) of Taiwan in February 2019. The MoUs will see KMUH sharing knowledge and experience on healthcare and wellness services.

Project Details

Eco Sanctuary is surrounded by green vistas, picturesque gardens, and a central park that is located at the northern front. 20% of the development’s land area is reserved for greenery. A total of 246 acres would be for the residential component, while 62 acres are reserved for commercial development. Eco Sanctuary has achieved the provisional BCA Green Mark Certified Township status.

Two collections were launched in May 2015 – Monterey consists of 353 bungalow units, while Terraza has 358 double-storey super-link houses. The homes are spacious with double-volume ceilings, and come with en suite bathrooms in all the rooms upstairs.

Grandezza consists of 260 units of bungalow and semi-D, and they are expected to be completed by end of 2019. Grandezza is Eco Sanctuary’s lowest density and final landed phase. It comprises 100 bungalows and 160 semi-detached houses.

Eco Sanctuary also features mid-rise The Parque Residences, with 594 condominium units, and Artezza, with 164 units of low-rise courtyard homes. Artezza’s units are designed for multigenerational living. A typical unit looks like a bungalow, but houses four units over four floors. The first two floors comprise two 2-storey link houses with built-ups of 2,500 sq ft, while the third and fourth floors will be penthouses with built-ups of 3,000 to 3,100 sq ft.

Each development in Eco Sanctuary will have its own clubhouse, exclusively for residents’ use. Standard facilities include a swimming pool, gymnasium, steam rooms, and entertainment rooms.

Commercially, residents can visit the shopping and entertainment at the 62-acre Eco Sanctuary City, which encompasses 154 lifestyle shop offices (Eco Somerset I and II), a mall, convention centre, hotel, wellness centre, office tower, and service apartments.

Eco Somerset is Sanctuary City’s maiden launch. It offers 2- and 3-storey shop offices with double-volume ground floors and superior frontages. As for the 3-storey Sanctuary Mall, it has a gross floor area of 130,000 sq ft, and a net lettable area of about 100,000 sq ft and its soft opening was in December 2019. The mall caters to the daily needs of the community.

Daily necessities can be conveniently obtained at the mall as its tenant mix will range from grocers and restaurants, to home and living decoration and children’s clothing and accessories retailers. In February 2019, EcoWorld unveiled a tree house at the mall, and it is becoming a landmark in the area. The design of the tree house mimics the oldest species of the pine tree, which is about 5,000 years old. Sanctuary Mall will be surrounded by Eco Somerset lifestyle shop offices.
