Habitus’ SOVO is ideal for young entrepreneurs seeking a modern flexible office. As for the residential units (Type A, B, C, and D), they offer living spaces from 565 sq ft to 998 sq. Each unit is designed with an open layout and 10ft floor-to-ceiling height to lend an air of spaciousness, and it also comes with a balcony.
The units are semi-furnished, with a kitchen cabinet and a hood and hob, and air-conditioners. The studio unit (Type A) and 2-bedroom units (Type B) come with 2 air-conditioners respectively, while Type C comes with 3 air-conditioners, and Type D comes with 4 air-conditioners. The studio unit’s bedroom comes with a sliding door.
The SOVO units would hold commercial title, while the residential units will hold residential title. The sales person highlighted that the SOVO units would be the same width as residential units. The only differences are that the SOVO units are shorted by 8ft, without balcony and 1 car park. Residential units will have 2 tandem parking lots.

Analysis
This project is often compared to another leasehold project that is less than a 10-min drive away, Embayu @ Damansara West. While Embayu has fewer amenities within walking distance, there are sufficient amenities at these blocks right opposite City of Elmina. There are banks, mamak, Pizza Hut, KFC, clinics, speciality shops, and even Family Mart.
Habitus is scheduled to be completed in 2023. However, the mall in City of Elmina will only be completed in 2025. So residents would need to drive about 18 minutes to get to Citta Mall, 20 minutes to Evolve Mall, and 25 minutes to Paradigm Mall.
The township of City of Elmina is expected to be completed in 2050. So that would mean close to a 30-year wait for the entire development to be done. That said, there will be more amenities throughout the years.
According to the sales person, most buyers are those who want to live close to their parents in Shah Alam, and those who plan to treat their purchased units as a weekend home to enjoy the facilities.
If you’re head towards Petaling Jaya frequently, you would have to be a little more patient before DASH is completed.
