I have question regarding all this act regarding the constitution of management committee, Schedule 2(Act 757)
In Schedule 2, There was 2 things that I concern about
1) Management Committee shall not hold the office for more than 3 consecutive years.
2) Chairmain, Treasury and Secretary shall not hold same office for more than consecutive 2 years.
What I concern is, the act 757 was implemented on 1 June 2015. Before act 757 there was act 663 and act 318 which covered for Strata Management.
In Act 633, under para 11 (2) states that the Committe shall consist of Developer and not less than five and not more than twelve purchasers, who shall be elected at AGM and shall not hold the office for a period for more than 3 consecutive years or until dissolution of BODY.
So my question is
1) Regarding in Act 663, does the not more than 3 consecutive years still applicable to the Management Committee after the dissolution of the Body?
For example, an MC hold the position of treasurer from 2011 to 2015 (before act 757) does this break any rule?
2) In act 318 does not state the constitution of Management Committe as act 757, does this mean theres no such rules before the act 757?
