Hi, I have situation as follows:-
My father bought an apartment in Kuala lumpur 18 years ago with cash. The apartment is under father and my name. Then my father passed away in 2007. My questions are as follows:-
1) The apartment is still under the master title which the developer are still exist; and we did not apply the strata tile yet. Can i still sell the apartment?
2) After my father passed away, all the harta transfer to my mother. Although we obtained the geran surat kuasa mentadbir and my mother have all the rights to my father harta. We still did not transfer the ownership of this apartment to my mother until now. Will it be trouble to sell the apartment and what solution can we solve this problem.

Hello, your situation a bit complicated. The best way is to contact and discuss by face to face to understand more about.
Anyway, if the property still not yet transferred name from your father, you can sell it but the buyer need more time for the name of transfer. and by law, currently, you only own 50% of the ownership. And if your father have no wills, logically, legally, your mother shouldn't own the 50% of ownership. i suggest you better understand the law of inherit instead of just listen to what your mother said. It's all the matter of law, not the matter of emotion/sympathy.
