I am trying to obtain the strata title to an apartment I purchased in 2006. Unfortunately I do not have the original of the following documents:
1) Completed Memorandum of Deed of Receipt and Reassignment
2) Completed Deed of Novation cum Assignment (stamped and signed by the developer)
3) FIC approval letter
My lawyer has since closed the office I used for the purchase, and has avoided responding to several emails to their new head office.
My questions are as follows:
1) Can I obtain copies of the above documents from any other sources ?
2) Will not having the strata title add difficulty in selling the apartment in the future ?
