I purchased Miharja apartment 2 yrs ago but till now my bank loan still not able to reimbursed. My lawyer still waiting the seller/vendor lawyer to execute the documentation required.
My frustration is, is it my lawyer 'not do the job' or seller/vendor laywer 'not do the job'? What should i do? Just continue keep waiting? I paid 10% deposit during signing S&P.

Hi Mickey,
2 years is a long time to wait for execution of documentation required unless some important documents are missing. You need to clarify with your lawyer what is outstanding and how to resolve it the quickest way. This is why you hire a lawyer in the first place. Usually, it takes more than 3 months to a year to get the consent from the Land Office to transfer a leasehold property. There is usually a dateline to conclude the whole process failing which the purchaser is at liberty to withdraw and get the full refund of the deposit.(please review your S&PA)unless the delay is not about getting the consent. 2 years market priced may have increased and Vendor/Seller maybe having a change of mind and reluctant to apply for the consent to transfer. Again it could be other reasons. You need to discuss in detail with your lawyer.
All the best!
