The township of Bandar Kinrara was launched in 1991, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM3 billion. It sprawls across 1,904 acres with residential, commercial and retail components. There will be a total of 14,500 units, with an expected population of 72,500.

One of the newer developments launched in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, is Legasi 2 by I&P Group Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of S P Setia Bhd. 76 double-storey terraced houses were launched on 15 February 2020. The freehold development has a GDV of RM87 million and it is the second series of the fully sold Legasi 1 which was launched in 2019. The launch saw prospective buyers forming a queue a few days before the official launch.
