Hi, I would like to ask, I have a house rented to a tenant. He gave me an advance 2 months notice in May and he will stay until end of July.
He still have to pay the rental up until July right? After he move out and I inspect my house only I give back the security deposit right?
He doeesnt want to pay the 2 months as he say he has do some renovation to the house.

Good evening Mr.Ben,

To answer the first question,the tenant still need to pay up the rental till end of July

For rights,both parties can't contra the 2 months security deposit but most owner contra it.

Does the tenant seek permission from you to do the renovation in the house?

You may seek advice from your lawyer before taking any action against the tenant.
