We have put down a deposit on a highway facing low rise Bangsar Puteri condominium. Now with the current proposed MRT elevated track going across right in front of our balcony on the Sprint Highway to the Pusat Bandar Damansara MRT station. How will this affect the value of the property? Should we continue with the purchase or forfeit our deposit looking at long term? Thank you.

Shophouses facing tracks are less impacted but homes facing tracks will have a negaticve impact especially if it's close by. It's about demand vs. supply that pushes prices up apart from inflation. Even if it's not for investment but for own stay, can you bear with the sight of it or the noise, if any.
It's your choice. Perhaps you could find a better and cheaper alternative within Bangsar Puteri itself within the next 14 days before signing S&PA. Read More
