Following floods that occurred in Kelantan last week, the Kelantan National Security Council (NSC) will conduct a survey to measure the amount of damage it has caused on properties, reported Bernama.

Individuals who incurred damage to property can file a report to the Federal Village Development and Security Committee (JKKKP), while complaints on agricultural losses should be submitted to the Agriculture Office, said Kelantan NSC Secretary Rosle Mamat.

“Complaint forms will be sent to the Prime Minister’s Department to obtain assistance.”

Moreover, a special meeting was held at Kota Baharu last weekend, which discussed the census and the RM500 aid for each family evacuated to flood relief centres.

Rosle also assured residents that the government will try to distribute the aid as quickly as possible to help the affected families, especially with school starting in just a few days.
