Grab a slice of Madonna’s interior design

28 Oct 2014

Madonna’s interior designer, Nicola Fontanella of design house Argent Design, has brought her renowned flair, glamour and eye for detail to the design, specification and interiors of the nine luxurious apartments being launched at London’s Dover House on Westminster Bridge Road by Thackeray Estates.

Known for many years as the Dover Castle Hotel & Restaurant it became offices in the late 1960s and then, from 1996 to 2009, the CL English Language School. In 2013 it was acquired by Thackeray Estates whose vision was the refurbishment and restoration of the magnificent architectural façade, and the transformation of the interiors to provide contemporary luxury.

The new Dover House development provides nine one-, two- or three-bedroom apartments, including two penthouses, with a contemporary aesthetic design and stylish interiors created by luxury design specialists Argent Design.

Brett Palos, Director of Thackeray Estates, said: “Dover House combines our heritage restoration skills with Argent Design’s couture-style approach to design creating apartments of the highest quality whilst also restoring the grand character of this historic building.”

Co-director Antony Alberti added: “Dover House is in a Prime Zone 1 location neighbouring Westminster and Whitehall. It introduces Belgravia quality into an up-and-coming location benefiting from capital value uplift.”

Prices start from £895,000 for an 801 sq ft two-bedroom apartment.
