104 houses will be built by the Kelantan branch of the Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (DPMM) in several villages of Kuala Krai after obtaining land approval from the state government.

According to its president, Rosli Ismail, the construction of these houses was part of the 400 houses proposed by DPMM for Kelantan.

“The houses will be build according to specifications set by the federal government at a cost of RM48,000 each,” he told reporters at the DPMM Kelantan office here today.

Rosli said the design and concept of the house would be created by DPMM and the first phase of the project was expected to be completed before the Ramadhan month.

He added that DPMM had also identified about 600 successful bumiputera companies to render assistance to entrepreneurs hit by floods.
