Master Community Developer, Sunway Property, together with Daiwa House Malaysia Sdn Bhd, recently completed the country’s first luxurious pre-fabricated home and hosted an exclusive preview session at Sunway Iskandar.

The show unit is located within Sakura Residence, a project within Parkview Precinct, Sunway Iskandar.

Sakura Residence will be built as a private gated community with a total of 100 pre-fabricated double-storey bungalows and semi-Ds.

“Living quality was our core consideration when we designed these pre-fabricated houses. Beyond the roof and walls, it is about constructing every building details that make it a convenient and comfort home for people of all ages,” said Daiwa Sunway Development Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer and Daiwa House Malaysia Sdn Bhd Managing Director Daisuke Usugi.

On the benefits of using pre-fabricated technology, Usugi explained that the unique aspects include high precision structures, shorter delivery timeframe, well ventilated design, energy-saving and clean living environment.

Sakura Residence will also be home to the Japanese inspired community center and jogging track, along with other world-class amenities encompassing the Parkview precinct.

“Sunway Iskandar will be developed in 6 precincts, The Lakeview, The Capital, The Parkview, The Riverside, The Seafront, and The Marketplace. Each precinct is designed to be a self-sustaining integrated township like our award-winning Sunway City where key components such as educational institutions, leisure hotspot, healthcare and recreation will be incorporated,” said Sunway Iskandar Chief Executive Officer Gerard Soosay.

Sunway Iskandar is by far the largest project by Sunway Property, spanning 1,800 acres of land with a GDV of RM30 billion. It offers a world-class city balanced with the beauty of nature, making it a truly Nature’s Capital City in Iskandar, Johor.

Sunway Iskandar also provides excellent connectivity to the residents and business owners at only 5km driving distance to the Second Link via the soon to be completed Coastal Highway Southern Link (CHSL), of which will be open in the first quarter of 2017.
