PM to launch Pan Borneo Sabah Highway project

According to Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman, the Pan Borneo Sabah Highway Project will be launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak as scheduled on Sunday, reported Bernama.

The event will be held at Papar, and over 20,000 attendees are expected on the day. “This highway will bring more comfort and convenience for the people, besides being a safe and efficient infrastructure. It will also boost the economic and social developments in Sabah,” he said after the state legislative assembly.

The highway will be 706 km long and will link the major cities in the state, changing Sabah’s infrastructure landscape.

“I invite everyone to attend this launching and witness the project which is going to upgrade Sabah’s infrastructure – for the well-being of the rakyat,” he stated. The event will be held at Kampung Andus, Papar at 10am.
