I-Bhd is looking to expand its land bank as its existing land in Shah Alam is down to 40%.

Currently, the firm is developing an iconic mixed development in Shah Alam, dubbed i-City. This development sits on approximately 242 hectares of land and comes with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM7 billion.

The firm is now looking at a new development site and a proposed land bank via joint venture.

As for i-City, the group owns 30% of the land while the rest are owned by I-Bhd founder Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong. This development is a joint venture between the group and Tan Sri Lim.

Meanwhile, the firm has also joint ventured with Thailand’s Central Pattana Group to develop Central i-City, a 1 million sq ft mall. The masterplan of the township also includes a four-star hotel, which is set to be managed by Double Tree Hilton.
