Towards Achieving Financial Freedom

Among the many types of investments available in Malaysia, property investment is considered to be the best to date as it helps a person to leverage and increase their real estate net worth. However, taking the right steps toward achieving financial freedom concerns many as one wrong investment can ruin it all.

Hence, to avoid such circumstances and to provide proper guidance, Gary Chua, the CEO of SMART Financing organized a three-day course for potential investors.

Gary Chua has over 11 years of banking experience, with both local and international banks. With his vast knowledge and technique, Gary acquired over RM20 million worth of properties in 2013, within 12 months.

During the three-day course, he shared his financial knowledge and experiences to help potential investors to master the skills on getting unlimited financing to fund their property investment. Moreover, he has also formed a community for investors, which works closely with partner bankers, lawyers, company secretariat and accountants to ensure that the attendees have a smooth, easy and fast track journey towards achieving their financial freedom.

There were two vital points that were emphasized during the course. The first is learning to work in a team, followed by acquiring vast knowledge.

Tips 1: Team up!

So, what is the secret that makes the common people achieve uncommon results? Teamwork of course!

During the course, the room was filled with passionate investors and homebuyers from diversified backgrounds, with their age ranging from 21 to 65 years old. Yet, everyone bonded with one ultimate goal.

As per the saying ‘wise minds think alike’, the similar minded participants worked in a group which gave them an extra advantage on leveraging over the rest.

“For the survival in the investment world, we should forget working alone. We should work as a team because working alone will never take you far,” said Gary.

When you work alone, you have certain limits and boundaries in terms of financing. But the situation turns otherwise when a similar-minded group is formed. This will benefit investors in the long run, as the aim for most property investors is to remain in the game for a long time.

Tips 2: Learning is fun!

According to Gary, acquiring knowledge plays a vital role in property investment. Thus, a property investor must first learn in order to become a successful property investor.

Even though many find topics such as finance, accounts and mathematic to be boring, yet incorporating activities like role play, teamwork and games make the subjects interesting and makes it easier to absorb.

“What we learn with pleasure we never forget,” said Gary.

Besides building the team spirit, the course also provided ample opportunities for learning, especially on how to leverage smartly and safely. Also attended during the course are the former attendees of the SMART Financing course.

“I wish I had learned the SMART Financing system 10 years back,” said Poh Ying, a 39 years old homemaker.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Yap, a 23 years old personal trainer noted that he has accumulated over 13 properties in less than six months, after attending the course.

Towards the end of the course, the participants were so motivated and eager to start their investment journey. Learning from the expert obviously poses better chances for these investors as now they have the right knowledge and mindset to succeed.
