Tropicana to Host Eat-Play-Bond Campaign

Tropicana Corporation Berhad Senior General Manager (Marketing and Sales) Ung Lay Ting recalls her olden day memories where traditional games were widely played amongst family and friends.

Congkak, hopscotch and skipping rope were the common games played by many those days; something which the current generation is missing on.

To bring back the treasured childhood memories of the older generation, and to give the younger generation a taste of the traditional games, Tropicana is organizing its “Sama-Sama” campaign.

This campaign will be held in four of Tropicana’s developments located within Klang Valley. The event will see over 50 games and will be hosted for four consecutive weekends, from September to mid-October as per mentioned below:

  • 24 and 25 September: Tropicana Heights
  • 1 and 2 October: Tropicana Aman
  • 8 and 9 October: Tropicana Metropark
  • 15 and 16 October: Tropicana Gardens

“It is important to make lasting memories with our kids. They will draw upon these memories as they grow older as proof that they had a pretty good childhood,” said Ung.

“We want to recreate traditional childhood memories through this ‘Sama-Sama’ campaign with a series of traditional games. We want to provide opportunities for parents to create lasting memories with their little offspring in the comfort of our 4 signature developments.”
