Tropicana Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Yau Kok Seng plans to retire at an earlier date on 30 November instead of end-2017 because of health reasons, according to a Bursa Malaysia filing on Monday, 2 October.

Tropicana’s board expresses their sincere appreciation to Dato’ Yau, and is currently looking for his replacement.

Meanwhile, Dion Tan Yong Chien has been appointed as Tropicana’s Managing Director effective on Monday from his previous role as Executive Director.

The 27-year-old graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Management for Business from University College London in 2011, then he obtained a Master of Science in Management with Information Systems and Innovation from London School of Economics in 2012.
