Design Suites by Studio F. A. Porsche Targets Elite Buyers

6 Feb 2017

Design Suites by Studio F. A. Porsche, M101 Holdings Sdn Bhd’s RM325 million project set to be completed in 2020, drew a lot of interest in China, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines and Kuala Lumpur.

“These suites are higher-end, and we are targeting a specific set of clientele,” Datuk Seth Yap, chief executive officer of M101 Holdings, told City & Country.

“Our whole development will have a range of target markets, from the middle-income earners to high-net-worth individuals, in line with our concept of a self-sustaining, ‘horizontal township’.”

Set for launch in Q1 2017, the suites’ built-ups will range from 876 sq ft to 1,018 sq ft, while prices start from RM3,500 psf. The units will be furnished with high-tech appliances, which were designed by Studio F. A. Posrche, in the entertainment area and kitchen, among others.

With aesthetics similar to that of M101 Skywheel’s, the suites will feature signature red stripes, titanium pedestals and reflective black glass, said the developer.

To maintain the units’ exclusivity, the company plans to invite only selected prospective buyers to view the units and will only accept cash buyers, said Yap.

For this year, M101 Holdings will continue to focus on M101 Skywheel, while keeping an eye for potential collaborations and opportunities.

“The M101 series is for Malaysia. Perhaps, in the long run, we may have, for example, the ‘M108’ series in the Philippines. That is our dream — to build our brand and have development blocks in different parts of the world,” he said.

“This year, we plan to have roadshows overseas to attract foreign investors. We have partnered the Bank of China in Shanghai to present M101 Skywheel to a select group there.”

Yap noted that their recent trip to Indonesia proved that the project is well-received by investors in neighbouring countries.
