Eco World Development Group’s sales surged by 57 percent to RM955 million for the first four months of its current financial year compared to RM607.8 million in the corresponding period last year, reported The Star.
Of this, RM158 million came from developments in Johor and Penang, while RM797 million is attributed to projects in Klang Valley, said the Malaysia-based developer in a statement.
This year, Eco World Development hopes to sell RM4 billion worth of properties, which is nearly the same as the RM4.01 billion sales recorded for the whole of 2016. But overall, the entire Eco World brand clocked in RM6.07 billion in sales during the previous year.
At present, the undeveloped land of Eco World amounts to around 5,500 acres, which has a potential gross development value (GDV) of RM77.5 billion.
