Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) has clinched a RM369 million contract from Turnpike Synergy Sdn Bhd for the construction of the mainland as well as other associated works under the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Highway (DASH) privatisation project, reported The Star.
Turnpike Synergy is a subsidiary of Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas), which in turn is a wholly-owned unit of Permodalan Nasional Bhd.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing, MRCB noted that the works package’s contract price is RM369 million, while the contract’s duration is 26 months.
“The works are anticipated to commence by end August 2017 and will be completed by October 2019,” it said.
The company expects the contract to positively contribute to the group’s future earnings.
Set to cover Damansara, Kota Damansara, Subang and Shah Alam areas, the 20.1km DASH highway is a three-lane, dual carriageway expressway that start at the Puncak Perdana, Shah Alam intersection.
