No Advertisement Placed By KPKT On MyHome, MyDeposit and Housing Loan Scheme

The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) has denied putting up an advertisement on application for affordable homes priced below RM30,000 under the MyHome and MyDeposit 2021 Scheme as well as RM60,000 aid for constructing a home on own land under the Housing Loan Scheme (SPP).

It explained that it only opened applications for PR1MA Housing, Housing for Civil Servants, the People’s Housing Program (PPR) and Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad, reported Bernama.

The ministry made the statement after it received complaints and enquiries regarding an alleged advertisement on affordable homes that had purportedly become viral.

Meanwhile, the ministry revealed that home prices under the PPR Dimiliki programme stands at RM42,000 per unit in Sabah and Sarawak and RM35,000 in the peninsula.
