Land and General Bhd (L&G) has unveiled Astoria Ampang, a serviced apartment project in Kuala Lumpur comprising four 43-storey towers with 253 units each. Buyers can choose from one- to four-bedroom apartments with sizes ranging from 560 sq ft to1,505 sq ft.

“While most developments within its immediate surroundings are bound by smaller pockets of land and subsequently parks and other greens take a secondary priority, Astoria boasts a vast 5.7-acre site in the heart of the city. With such space, it is set to transform its entire vicinity into a true piece of paradise; a stark contrast to the constant buzzing of Jalan Ampang,” said the company’s press release.

In fact, its vast three-acre recreational deck will come with many natural elements like cascading waterfall and water terraces. Complementing such features are blankets of greens handpicked to attract natural life within Astoria. Even the outdoor lighting will be carefully adjusted to create a welcoming ambience for all life forms, be it ladybugs, beetles, birds and butterflies.

“The biodiversity concept remains the foundation of the entire Astoria presence. Its sole objective is to create and maintain an ambience that is glowing with the uplifting sights and sounds of a living eco-system; a setting that is enlivened by the singing of birds, the fluttering of butterflies and the merry babble of streams; an environment so conducive where the resident’s lifestyle is elevated,” noted L&G.

Furthermore, Astoria Ampang will be further beautified by elevated walkways, with fitness pods and observatory. Below it, are jogging and cycling paths that meander through water streams and waterfalls. There will also be yoga decks, a zen garden, an amphitheatre, resort-inspired pools and a unique hammock garden.

Located within the heart of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the development is close to international hotels, renowned educational and medical institutions, as well as world-class shopping and entertainment destinations. It is also conveniently accessible due to its prime address off Jalan Ampang.

Expected to be completed by 2019, Astoria Ampang will offer serviced apartments priced from RM494,000 psf to RM880 psf and above.
