The top achievers and outstanding performers of the real estate industry were given recognition for the 8th time yesterday during the National Real Estate Awards 2016 gala dinner held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre.
The National Real Estate Awards (NREA) is the top and most significant award formed to give recognition to the top performing real estate firms, real estate agents, and real estate negotiators annually, by measuring the success and pinnacle of achievements by these professionals.
Since its initiation in the year 2009, the award has been recognized and supported by the Ministry of Finance and Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents (BOVAEA) among many.
This year, the National Real Estate Awards 2016 was attended by over 800 attendees and was graced by the Guest of Honour 2nd Finance Minister YB. Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani.
The MIEA National Real Estate Awards (NREA) recognizes the measure of success and pinnacle of achievements of real estate firms, real estate agents, and real estate negotiators. This year’s award was given to real estate professionals who performed above par amongst 5,000 agents and negotiators.
In addition, the number of categories was also increased this year from 10 to 19, making the selection process stiffer than before.
“Malaysia’s healthy economy and key real estate developments have opened up new markets for the industry that have also become a reason for improved service and standards,” said National Real Estate Awards Committee organizing chairman Eric Lim.
Meanwhile, special category awards were also awarded to top agents with extraordinary online performance. These recognitions were awarded by PropertyGuru in collaboration with the MIEA.
“Winning the MIEA-PropertyGuru Top Online REN Award is a remarkable achievement for any real estate agents in Malaysia. The results achieved by the agents by leveraging on online marketing are remarkable. I heartily congratulate the winners who will not only receive high recognition, but will receive high publicity from PropertyGuru for the next six months which will take their business to the next level,” said PropertyGuru Chief Business Officer Lewis Ng.
The decision for these awards was taken based on the real data, which includes quality, quantity, the number of enquiries, profile and so on.
