Hanns Residence, Musyati Development Sdn Bhd’s new development project in Sibu, saw 12 units snapped up by buyers during its pre-launch.

Designed by local architect Ng Chun Chien, the project will be developed on Wong King Huo Road, featuring 418 residential units spread across two 18-storey blocks that are connected by three link bridges.

Unit sizes will range from 552 to 1,199 sq ft for intermediate one- to three-bedroom units, while penthouses will be two storeys ranging from 1,651 to 2,266 sq ft.

Residents at the development will enjoy a wide range of facilities including two rooftop badminton courts, gym, two sky lounges, a landscaped garden with jogging tracks and an infinity pool.

Hans Residence will be officially launched on 30 December, with Second Minister of Finance, Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh officiating the event.

Meanwhile, Musyati also revealed plans to build a commercial centre, dubbed Hanns Commercial Centre, alongside Hanns Residence.

“We want to provide a new lifestyle for Sibu folk in a luxurious and convenient manner, so they do not have to continually rush from place to place for their everyday work and leisure activities,” said Ng.

The commercial centre will include 49 retail arcade units, a 48-room boutique hotel as well as 10 units of three- and six-storey strata-titled commercial shops.

The commercial and residential properties will be connected by a semi-enclosed drivable area with skylights to provide shelter from rain while maintaining an eco-friendly theme, with its natural lighting and ventilation to the area.

Hanns Residence marketing manager Jackson Ling said the company will not be selling its commercial lots to maintain control on its tenants and the quality of the commercial centre. It will also retain operation of the boutique hotel.

Musyati aims to bring in more globally known brands to raise the appeal of the commercial centre as well as the Hanns Residence.
