It’s time to raise the glass for the highly anticipated Vietnam Property Awards 2016, the most exclusive and most respected industry awards programme in the country, as the official shortlist of the nominees were announced.

Presented by Hansgrohe, the second annual Vietnam Property Awards will celebrate the achievements of the country’s established and emerging developers, with a total of 22 award categories.

Acteam International Co Ltd and Phu Quoc Development & Investment Joint Stock Company each secured five nominations. Multiple nominations also went to CapitaLand (Vietnam) and commercial developer Tanzanite International, receiving three and four nods each, respectively.

All the Winners and Highly Commended will be revealed in a blacktie gala dinner at the InterContinental Asiana Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, 10th June.

The prestigious ceremony, which will be covered by Vietnam’s most influential media outfits, expects an attendance of more than 400 industry leaders, Clevel executives, and real estate professionals. The event will also be promoted across Southeast Asia via PropertyGuru, Asia’s leading property media group.

According to this year’s chairman of the judges, Thien Duong, managing director at Transform Architecture, “the Awards are designed to provide a much-needed boost for developers in this exciting cycle of the local property sector. This is an opportunity for businesses in Vietnam to strive not just for profit but to create brands that have longterm credibility in the market.”

Before the gala event at the InterContinental Asiana Saigon, the editors of Asia’s leading luxury real estate, architecture and design publication, Property Report, will reveal the recipient of the 2016 Real Estate Personality of the Year award. The only accolade not chosen by the independent panel of judges, it is given to the individual who has had great success in the local property sector in the past year.

Top winners will compete at the South East Asia Property Awards 2016 in Singapore in November to represent Vietnam at the grand finals.
