MyHSR Corp Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s project delivery vehicle for the proposed Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail project, has received the International Union of Railways (UIC) membership at the 91st UIC General Assembly in Paris last week.
With the membership, MyHSR will be able to propose new ways of improving technical as well as the environmental performance of rail transport.
“We are indeed honoured to be a member of UIC and being able to work closely with international industry players to be able to influence policies on issues such as mobility, sustainable development and the environment, and tackle future challenges of the railway industry together,” said Datuk Mohd Nur Ismal Mohammed Kamal, Chief Executive Officer of MyHSR Corp.
Incorporated in 1922, UIC is a worldwide professional association that represents the railway sector and promotes rail transport globally by developing and facilitating all forms of international cooperation among members as well as sharing best practices.
