China’s Ambassador Huang Huikang plans to visit 12 developments in Malaysia that have been funded by Chinese cash, reported Sin Chew Daily.

Beginning in March, the Chinese official will tour six states where the projects are located. These developments are in the fields of real estate, manufacturing, finance, education, agriculture, oil refining and nuclear energy.

On Saturday, former Malaysian diplomat Dennis Ignatius posted an opinion piece on Free Malaysia Today that China is anticipated to finance at “least half a trillion ringgit on infrastructure, property development and other projects” in the country in terms of loans, investments and property purchases.

Meanwhile, Huang made a short trip to Muar last weekend to visit Chinese groups in the town. There, he gave a speech Kwong Siew Chinese Association, in which he called on all Malaysians to work together for the nation’s economic development.

Among projects by China’s developers and investors are:

1. R and F Princess Cove Phase 1 Residence, Johor Bahru

2. Sovereign Bay, Permas Jaya

3. Jade Palace, Danga Bay

Guardians of Malaysia

Injecting half a trillion ringgit into Malaysia economy is like injecting Viagra into our blood stream. Have anybody looked into long term effect of sudden splurge of economy spike?? Best growth is moderated and planned growth. Nobody can predict the future accurately so drive slow when you cannot see the corners. And don't let others take the wheel from you. In the end, it is your home and your children's home too, we're here only temporarily as guardians for the future generations.
