In a bid to bring art and life to a township, BRDB Developments Sdn Bhd (BRDB) has unveiled the Art of Living project at its Tamansari development in Rawang.
Drawing inspirations from Rawang’s rich history as one of Kuala Lumpur’s earliest satellite mining towns, the project will see the placement of monumental free-standing sculptures, experimental projects and other artworks scattered within the landscaped gardens in Tamansari.
The first phase of the project will feature works of four Malaysian artists – Ramlan Abdullah, Haffendi Anuar, Jun Ong and Umibaizurah Mahir Ismail.
“At BRDB, we offer beautiful quality homes and we build communities that inspire. The “Art of Living” project is a testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence. Through this new initiative, we envision a vibrant and happening district where residents and visitors at Tamansari can come together, connect and express creative ideas collectively,” said BRDB Chief Executive Officer Kajendra Pathmanathan.
Tamansari township, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2019, is a gated community that boasts 24/7 integrated perimeter security for each separate phase as well as CCTV surveillance system.
The freehold development comprises a lakeside commercial hub, beautiful garden terraced homes and artwork masterpieces strategically placed near living spaces.
Units at Tamansari comes in large built-ups from 3,100sq ft and are priced from RM894,000 onwards.
Currently, to own a unit here, buyers only need to fork out 1 percent down payment to own a unit. Legal fees for sales and purchase agreement and loans will be absorbed by BRDB.
Residents will also be receiving complimentary 12 months service charge and 5 years club membership. These fees will be borne by the developer.
Meanwhile, Rawang has transformed from being a satellite mining town to a connected and bustling town, with the arrival of major establishments such as the 55,000 sq ft shopping mall by AEON Jusco, various food and beverage outlets and financial institutions.
Also in the pipeline are the launch of essential amenities like the KPJ Rawang Specialist Hospital and several international schools.
“With enhanced infrastructure, public amenities and connectivity from Sungai Buloh, Petaling Jaya and the Kuala Lumpur city centre, Rawang is developing in the right direction. Thanks to the recently completed scenic Rawang bypass, and the LATAR Expressway, residents of Rawang can now enjoy an easier commute to and fro Kuala Lumpur through the Guthrie Corridor and North-South Expressway,” said Pathmanathan.
Rawang is also served by buses such as Metrobus, RapidKL and SJ Buses.
With this, Pathmanathan expects Tamansari to appeal to “home buyers as it is beautifully designed, competitively priced and strategically located”.
BRDB is currently offering potential buyers additional incentives for limited units booked before 24th March where RM3,888 “ang pau” to be offset from the down payment. Additionally, stamp duty and disbursements for loans will be absorbed by the developer too.
