Around 500,000 visitors targeted by PH Holdings Sdn Bhd to visit its RM110 million Puteri Harbour Theme Park this year.

According to General Manager, Fahruddin Najumudeen, the target was in line with the many activities lined up this year to lure tourists.

“The activity will include mini performances by favourite kids character like ‘Bob The Builder’ which will start on Feb 19,” he told reporters in Nusajaya last night.

Last year, 65 per cent of the visitors to the theme park comprised locals while foreign tourists from Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and China accounted for the remainder.

Fahruddin added that ‘B.J.’ and ‘Baby Bop’, two new characters from ‘Barney & Friends’ would also be introduced middle of the year.

Besides cartoon characters such as ‘Bob The Builder’, ‘Angelina Ballerina’, ‘Barney & Friends’, ‘Pingu and Thomas & Friends’, the park would also house the first ‘Hello Kitty City’ outside Japan.
