Panasonic Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Tropicana Corp Bhd to construct innovative eco-homes in Tropicana Aman – a new township development situated in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam. Tropicana comprises three phases, Arahsia, Bayan Residences and Cheria.

Under the agreement, the subsidiary of Panasonic Group will develop 272 semi-detached innovative eco-houses dubbed Cheria Residences, which form a part of Tropicana Aman’s Phase 3.

This development will feature double-storey semi-detached houses with sizes ranging from 3,200 sq ft to 3,670 sq ft. The eco-homes also boast wide car porch which could accommodate three cars side-by-side.

With a gross development value of RM358 million, Cheria Residences is set for launch next month and is expected to be completed in 2019, said Tropicana Group chief executive officer Datuk Yau Kok Seng.

The 863-acre township Tropicana Aman is a project of Tropicana, which some of the developer’s latest launches include Lumi Tropicana in Petaling Jaya and Tropicana The Residences in KLCC. Yesterday’s signing marked the first collaboration between Panasonic Group and the property developer.

The eco-home project is a brainchild of the two companies, embracing concepts and design that are fitted with Japan intelligent construction technology which aims to improve the quality of homes.

Haruhiko Kuwano, managing director of PanaHome Malaysia (a subsidiary of Panasonic Group), revealed that Cheria Residences is specifically designed to be environmentally friendly and energy efficient.

He noted that construction methods using reinforced concrete panel technology will ensure high and consistent quality building structure.
