A recent night-time property auction fair by Ng Chan Mau & Co Sdn Bhd for 150 properties attracted more than 100 bidders, reported The Star.

Conducted for RHB Bank, the auction was held at Ng Chan Mau & Co’s auction hall at Megan Avenue 2 Kuala Lumpur.

The first property fair that was held on such a scale, the auction saw RM10 million worth of properties sold over 90 minutes of bidding.

Low Chee Hian, business director at Ng Chan Mau & Co, said he was happy that the auction saw overwhelming response from buyers.

“This is the result of our 40 years of goodwill reputation in the auction market, as well as our strong marketing and customer service,” he said.

“Although the property market has generally soften, I think home buyers and investors will still buy if the property and price is right.”

Low was also glad that their efforts and hybrid auction platform was able to deliver a fair selling price for RHB bank and their borrowers.
