An established presence on the Johor property scene since 1995, PH World’s development arm launched off the back of a successful construction business started by local entrepreneur Pang Hock back in 1975.
Although the company is arguably best known for its commercial properties, its latest project, D’Art Collection, has propelled it onto the national scene and landed it on the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) winners’ list for the first time.
D’Art 18 Collection’s third phase is a community of 88 two-storey, semi-detached link houses located in the heart of Iskandar’s Taman Tropika 2 district.
Tastefully conceived for first-time buyers and multi-generational homeowners alike, PH World’s philosophy of combining art, nature, and people is at the core of this project, allowing residents to unwind in comfortable interiors that directly connect with the surrounding nature.
It is this combination of indoor-outdoor living, high-spec fittings and contemporary onsite facilities that convinced the Awards’ judging panel to name D’Art 18 Collection III Best Housing Architectural Design at the 2020 ceremony.
“A design narrative of connecting spaces with nature is exemplified exquisitely at D’ART 18 COLLECTION III by PH WORLD in Iskandar,” according to the panel. “Ceilings reach 5.4 metres in places, with open-plan layouts, and bedrooms linked to balconies enclosed with artistic panels for privacy or internal courtyards encouraging a feeling of flow.”
The integration of the core tenets is evident throughout the aesthetics of the development. The commitment to art is demonstrated by hand-crafted architectural concrete wall fences, elegant glass roofs, and art panels that ensconce exterior balconies on each of the properties.
Nature is promoted using open-plan living spaces that unfold onto bucolic exteriors and promote natural airflow through internal courtyards and seven-metre glass planning overlooking gardens.
The final component — people — meanwhile is showcased through each home’s spacious layouts featuring high ceilings, generous outdoor space, and communal amenities.
These onsite facilities include a ‘knowledge hub’ designed to accommodate and encourage social activities amongst neighbours. A park, basketball court, and badminton court are also due to be introduced in the near future.
Convenience is another major selling point for phase three of this sprawling property. Easily accessible from Persiaran Tropika with connectivity via Jalan Besar and North-South Highway, nearby stations such as Kulai KTM ensure swift commute times to key commercial areas around Iskandar.
Neighbourhood amenities include reputable retail outlets, eateries, hospitals, and a range of educational institutes, including Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Kota Kulai 2, Kota Kulai Secondary School, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Secondary School, and Munshi Abdullah Secondary School.
In addition to the developer’s Best Housing Architectural Design success, PH World rounded off a successful evening at the 2020 ceremony with a Highly Commended accolade for this latest, and final instalment, of D’Art 18 Collection in the Best Mid End Landed Development (Southern) category.
