A Father's Day tribute from MRCB

Following the launch of its heart-warming Mother’s Day video in May, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) has released another short film to commemorate Father’s Day.

Dubbed as ‘Fathers & Sons: the Unspoken Bond’, the video depicts how a young man thinks about his father and vice versa, unconscious that both are mirroring each other’s thoughts.

Both say the other is different as they have their own separate lives, but their thoughts show that they are similar in many ways. In addition, not a day passes where they don’t worry about the other.

The father and the son are sometimes stingy. There are also times when they are bossy and hot-headed.

But in spite of these flaws and imperfections, the video concluded that they love each other dearly because they are family.

Explaining the rationale behind the Father’s Day tribute, the company said that “this occasion is more deep as compared to others as it involves a relationship between a child and his dad.

The logic is that everyone knows no matter how far they go and how well they have become, they can’t overlook the ones who brought them to world.”

While the father and the son are not physically affectionate with each other, they know deep in their hearts that they love each other unconditionally without saying it directly. It is a form of love that transcends words, MRCB added.

The video, spanning 2 minutes and 35 seconds, can be found at YouTube and the company’s Facebook page.
