UEM Sunrise Berhad has inked a Sales and Purchase Agreement (“SPA”) with Luxx Newhouse Furniture Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Luxx Newhouse Group (“Luxx Newhouse”), for the sale of close to 100,000 sq ft of land in Phase 3 of the Southern Industrial & Logistics Clusters (“SILC”) with an option of another 100,000 sq ft. SILC is a fully integrated 1,300-acre industrial park in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
Luxx Newhouse’s investment of approximately RM80 million in the next five years will create a series of new jobs in various aspects of furniture production, housing over 200 trained and skilled workers within the 100,000 sq ft of land.
Luxx Newhouse has over 20 years of experience in building material business and have successfully brought their expertise in supplying and fabricating solid surface material across the Asia Pacific region. They are well established in the building industry and have been supporting building developers, architects, designers and individual home owners.
