KUALA LUMPUR: THE New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd (NSTP) is adding more content into its MyRumah Property Showcase this year. Apart from exclusive talks and latest property developers’ offerings of below RM500,000, general manager Roche Chew said visitors could also participate in a forum for a more in-depth discussion and engagement with speakers and panelists.
“The forum, which will be coordinated by LePro System Bhd, will feature various tech and property experts to enable a two-way discussion with the public.
“In the forum, we will talk about how technology plays an important part in the property market,” said Chew at a press conference, here, yesterday.
“There will still be exclusive talks from renowned speakers and real estate experts. “The public will have an opportunity to listen and ask as industry experts give their insights on the real estate market from the market outlook to investment tips,” he added.
As technology is one of the main highlights, NSTP has roped in Grab Malaysia as one of its partners for the property showcase. Grab will open a booth to showcase its products to house owners who are interested to join and earn extra income to pay their loans.
A RM5 discount will be offered to every Grab ride to and from MyRumah event, with a promo code of “GRABMYRUMAH”.
The 2017 MyRumah Property Showcase is a continuation and improvement of the first year showcase that was held last year.
Featuring 42 speakers, the three showcases last year saw more than 40 property units sold valued at RM20 million and managed to attract 15,000 visitors.
The first showcase of the year is scheduled to be held at Anjung Riong, Balai Berita NSTP, here, from March 3-5. The event is open to the public for free from 10am to 6pm.
NSTP will also organise MyRumah Property Showcase in Alor Star, Kedah, for the first time. On the other hand, Johoreans can visit the property showcase again for the second time this year.
