M101’s Property Tourism Initiative recently brought together 120 Porsches including Caine, Cayenne Turbo, 911 Carrera, Turbo, Turbo S, GTS, GT3 and Macan models, lined up in a convoy organized by Porsche Club Malaysia (PCM). The convoy which started at Kuala Lumpur Courts Complex to M101 Skywheel Sales Gallery in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng was by far the largest gathering since 2015.
Dato’ Seth Yap, CEO of M101 also took part in the convoy said, “I hope that by using M101’s Property Tourism Initiative as a platform, we are able to bring together Porsche Club members from around the world to Malaysia – where we have our iconic M101 Skywheel design by Studio F. A. Porsche.”
Property Tourism is a concept coined by M101. As a private sector, the Company is committed to play an active role in promoting Malaysia’s properties locally and abroad to enhance Malaysia as a tourism destination through real estate. M101 believes that by highlighting Kuala Lumpur’s vibrancy through its local distinctiveness combined with modern architectures, retail attractions, and commercial potential, the city will become a magnet for travellers and investors.
The convoy saw 25 members from Porsche Club Wuxi and Porsche Club Changzao joining the joyride. The convoy was greeting with beats of rums, gong and cymbal followed by lion dance upon their arrival at M101 Skywheel sales gallery.
“PCM will be the first supercar club to enjoy exclusive luxurious facilities at a Porsche-designed building. Through this platform, I believe that we are truly building a community of Porsche Club members in a Porsche Building. First time ever done by any clubs in Asia or even the World”, said Dato’ Derrick Lim, President of Porsche Club Malaysia.
“Thank you to M101 for extending the invitation to Porsche Club’s from China to visit Malaysia. Through this event today, we are able to establish our relationship with Porsche Club Malaysia.
