Creator of affordable dream homes Fieldman Construction takes it up a notch with high-spec properties

Selangor-based Fieldman Construction Sdn Bhd has firmly established itself as one of the state’s most prolific and reliable developers since its inception at the turn of the century.

In the last two decades, the firm has completed nine projects and is currently putting the finishing touches to its latest landmark residential development, Taman Semarang Intan.

Located in the ever-expanding Sepang district, less than 50 kilometres from the heart of the capital and just 15 minutes from Cyberjaya and Putrajaya, Taman Semarang Intan is a landed freehold development that, upon completion in the coming months, will feature 133 two-storey terraced properties set across a 10-acre gated community on the outskirts of up-and-coming Dengkil.

The town is home to an array of essential amenities including hospitals, hypermarkets and educational institutions.

The nearby Paya Indah Wetlands, or ‘beautiful swamp’, meanwhile, provides a peaceful escape to nature where visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor pursuits such as bird watching, nature walks, cycling and fishing.

Its strategically located, high-spec properties such as Taman Semarang Intan and others like it that encouraged the judging panel of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) to name Fieldman Construction Best Boutique Developer at the 2020 virtual ceremony held in early September.

“Powering forward with clearly defined steps to property development success, Klang-based Fieldman Construction proves how an SME can rise up to be a mighty player in creating dream homes,” the judges noted.

“Bringing 20 years of well-earned experience, here is a developer that has garnered a reputation for its outstanding residential projects, with affordability underpinning many.”

Specialising in affordable homes, Fieldman primarily targets consumers in and around the Cyberjaya and Putrajaya catchment areas. The satellite cities have come into their own in recent years as both the country’s tech hub and administrative capital, respectively, and as such, demand for high-quality accommodation within easy reach has soared.

Connectivity to Kuala Lumpur and KLIA are also major advantages for homeowners looking for convenience without the chaos of inner-city living and are perhaps frustrated with the limited supply of affordable landed properties in the capital.

In addition to taking home the coveted Best Boutique Developer gong for the first time, Fieldman also celebrated its maiden appearance at the Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) with a Highly Commended accolade in the Best Affordable Homes Developer category, as well as a Special Recognition for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) trophy.

On the firm’s recognition for its CSR achievements over the last 12 months, the judging panel noted that “moral principles, business ethics and community values are ingrained in the ethos of corporate strategies at Fieldman Construction, which encourages a harmonious relationship between employees and stakeholders alike.

Business success is built-up on plans to deliver on what is needed within the company and its surrounding communities to prosper and grow.”
