86 Affordable Homes To Be Ready By April

A total of 86 units of affordable housing, also known as Rumah Spektra Permata (RSP), are set to be completed by April in Kemuyang, reported The Star.

“Currently, 86 units of the RSP are being built by the Housing Development Corporation and another 24 units are in progress,” said Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian.

The units were part of the 2,500 RSP units launched last year by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

“The 86 units will be completed by April this year. Prices range between RM90,000 and RM160,000,” said Dr Sim.

RSP is a program of the Sarawak government to help people from the medium-income and low-income group own homes.

Dr Sim assured that more affordable housing units will be built.
