SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) has once again set a remarkable record through its SkyAwani 2 development located off Jalan Ipoh by crowning a notable QLASSIC score of 79%. This marks the highest rating within the Residensi Wilayah category in Malaysia by The Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB).
The Quality Assessment System for Building Construction Works (QLASSIC) is an independent method to assess and evaluate primarily the quality of workmanship of building projects based on Construction Industry Standard (CIS). A high QLASSIC score denotes that a building is better constructed and achieves a higher quality of workmanship. Currently, the practice is entirely voluntary.
Lee Chee Seng, Chief Operating Officer of SkyWorld enlightened, “We are further motivated as a team to craft high-quality developments upon receiving the news of SkyAwani 2 being awarded the highest QLASSIC score for the Residensi Wilayah Category. This milestone reflects the consistency that the group has placed concerning construction quality upon all developments across the board.
Despite the pandemic, our drive has not weakened, as we strive to produce affordable properties that cater to the demands of prospective property purchasers. This was reflected in the RM300mil in transactions achieved in Q1 of 2020 in the wake of COVID-19. We will use this achievement as a benchmark, to create new heights in the property industry.
SkyWorld aspires to reward all homeowners with Quality as it builds trust, delivers value and is a fundamental right to every homeowner. Lee added “In Malaysia, approximately 7,600 projects are completed yearly. Out of which merely 4.1% are QLASSIC certified.
