The re-birth of an iconic mall

OSK Property has unveiled the much awaited re-birth of Atria Shopping Gallery.

First launched in the 1980s, Atria has remained an iconic neighbourhood shopping mall. It, however, lost its shine in the mid-2000s since it was run down and there were no rooms to compete with bigger shopping malls around PJ.

In 2007, OSK Property acquired the mall and rebuilt it to suit Malaysia’s vibrant and changing lifestyle.

“Atria Shopping Gallery is the first and flagship mall of OSK Property. It is our pride and joy to bring back this iconic and nostalgic landmark back to its fame and glory. Much precision and details have been put into consideration of its interior design bringing a whole new experience to shoppers and visitors,” said Sally Low, Leasing Director of OSK Property Holdings Berhad.

“We hope that the shoppers will enjoy the one-of-its-kind concept, modern architecture, stunning interior design with an exciting tenant mix to cater to the modern lifestyle.”

Spanning across the 5.5acre freehold land, the neighbourhood mall has a net lettable area of 470,000 sq ft and features a myriad selection of tenants.

The mall is home to Spanish fashion outlet, MANGO, which occupied 16,000 sq ft of space – making it the biggest outlet in the country.

Other tenants include UK high-street fashion brand NEXT, Village Grocer, CHI Fitness and toy store Hamleys.

It will also house the biggest Jungle Gym and The Little Tree House – which is a joint collaboration between OSK Ventures Investment and HELP Education Berhad in providing an enriching and holistic learning experience for children that offers a blend of Malaysian and British Preschool Curriculum.

Meanwhile, customers will be able to enjoy retail experience in a convenient and comfortable environment as the mall offers five drop-off and pick-up points area.

Notably, the mall targets 30,000 visitors per day on weekends and 15,000 visitors for weekdays.
