Hansgrohe and the PropertyGuru Group presented the South East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) yesterday, on 11 August 2016 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Jalan Ampang. It was a prestigious event that was attended by over 350 guests.
The Guest of Honour was Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Seri Menanti Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, chairman of PropertyGuru Malaysia, and VIP guest Yang Berhormat Datuk Chua Tee Yong, the Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry.
Sime Darby Property was the winner of two awards, Best Developer (Malaysia) and a Special Recognition in Sustainable Development. They share the latter honour with another multiple winner, UM Land.
BRDB Developments earned a total of 4 trophies, including a Best of the Best award that qualifies the company to move on and represent the country at the South East Asia Property Awards grand finals in Singapore in November. The other winner of this award is Medini Iskandar Malaysia.
LBS Bina Group, Mah Sing and Matrix Concepts Holdings were winners of the Special Recognition in CSR award, which is the first in the Malaysian programme.
Mitraland’s founder and group CEO Chuah Theong Yee received the Real Estate Personality of the Year award from Liam Barnes, brand director and editor-in-chief of Property Report, for his contributions to the industry.
