Country Garden to Work Closely With Buyers to Resolve Their Concerns

Taking buyers’ feedback seriously, Country Garden Danga Bay Sdn Bhd revealed that its property management team, technical team and customer service department are always willing to listen to complaints of buyers, reported The Edge.

The developer said it would not be washing its hands and go away after completing its Danga Bay mega-project in Johor.

In fact, the developer intends to meet buyers who had complained with the Housing and Strata Management Tribunal again to resolve their problems.

It was previously reported that 50 buyers of the luxury high-rise development had complained of low-quality workmanship while the materials used were not in accordance with those stated in the sale and purchases agreement.

“We always take all this feedback seriously, otherwise we wouldn’t survive as this is a very competitive industry,” said Jason Fu, Regional President at Country Garden Malaysia.

He explained that Country Garden will continue working closely with its customers to find solution to their concerns, including those of workmanship and safety.

“We have been receiving feedback [from our buyers] all the time and we will work closely with them to solve their concerns,” noted Fu.

“Even though we have sold a majority of the units [in Danga Bay], it doesn’t mean that our work is finished. We want this project, community and society to be successful…We are here to stay for the long term and we don’t want to lose any customers, not even one,” he added.

Meanwhile, Country Garden Danga Bay deputy CEO Syarul Izam Sarifudin clarified that the project’s design and building materials had complied with all relevant regulations.

As such, buyers who are unsatisfied with the design of their homes can renovate the unit based on their preferences. However, they would have to ensure that the new design comply with the local council’s regulation and building by-laws, he said.
