Paradigm Mall PJ Gets First Asset Enhancement Initiative

9 Aug 2018

In a bid to remain fresh, Paradigm Mall PJ will be refurbished, with the first phase of enhancements expected to be completed by October this year and the second phase by 2019.

Its first since it opened its doors to the public in May 2012, the enhancements are divided in phases to minimise disruptions to shoppers and tenants.

The upgrades will see the addition of a food court and new eateries at level LG, a bigger alfresco dining area at the Boulevard on Level G, and reinvigorated entrances, reported The Edge.

“These upgrades will not only provide an enhanced shopping experience for our customers but also improve the mall’s offerings and services,” said WCT Malls Management Sdn Bhd CEO Selena Chua.

Tenants at the mall will be zoned according to their specialty to provide customers a seamless shopping experience.

Found in Level LG are the supermarkets, F&B and services outlets. Level CC will feature local fashion, time pieces, jewellery as well as bags and leather goods, while level UG will be the beauty and wellness zone.

Stores related to digital, home and living as well as kids’ entertainment and toys will occupy level 1, while gifts and souvenirs, fast food, bookstore and sports will be at level 2. The cinema, on the other hand, will continue to occupy level 3.

Aside from improved lighting, the mall’s car park will also be revamped with the introduction of car park guidance system.

A newly installed LED screen will also be featured on the mall’s façade.

Aside from the physical upgrades, Paradigm PJ will also have an upgraded list of tenants.

Recently, the mall welcomed 19 new brands – namely Go Noodle, Gong Cha, Old Town White Coffee (24-hours), Original Classic, ViQ, Puma, Milky Way Playspace, Aibi, Sorella, U Mobile, Aphrodite, Felancy, XES Signature, Tai Croissant, Luvbite, One Roast Kitchen, Funkids, Trinity and Rampage Ultron.

New tenants expected to join by 2H 2018 include KFC, Aroi Thai, Sushi King, Sukiya, Toast Box, Sepiring, Ipoh Ais Kopi, Canton Kitchen, Liang Sandwich Bar, KD Hong Kong, Nam Heong Ipoh, I Love Yoo, Cuckoo, Itsu, Chatime, G-Shock Store, KB Fun, I Care Dental, Jac’s Optometry, Shake, Mr DIY and Food Arcade – the first and only food court at the mall.

“With this improvement, we anticipate our annual footfall to increase significantly as Paradigm PJ continues to serve the community as a family-friendly mall. We hope that the enhancements will appeal to our current patrons as well as incite new patrons to come and utilise the mall as a gathering place for one and all,” Chua said.
