The state government of Sabah will develop 500 houses in the Tanjung Batu state constituency in 2013 under the People’s Housing Project (PPR), said Datuk Hamisa Samat in a report by The Sun Daily.
According to her, the housing project will cater to the needs of the people and shows that the state government indeed care for its citizens.
“The BN government has always been sensitive to the problems faced by the people,” she said to the media after commenting on the fire that happened at Kampung Tanjung Batu Darat last week.
Three houses were gutted and two others were damaged by the fire. In total, it affected five families.
Hamisa explained that the Barisan Nasional’s (BN) promises are backed by action, as it provide not only affordable housing but also other amenities such as roads, educational facilities and other infrastructure projects.
