A total of 21 developers will participate in this year’s Malaysia Property Exposition (MAPEX 2016), which will take place on 22-24 April.
These companies will showcase 2,215 residential and commercial properties with a combined worth of more than RM1.37 billion. And these will be marketed at competitive prices, according to the event host, the Negeri Sembilan branch of the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA).
“Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the incentives offered,” said Jenny Wang Lee Peng, Chairperson of REHDA Negeri Sembilan.
These include discounts, cash rebates, free electrical goods, club house membership, lighting vouchers, free legal fees and stamp duty, umrah package for Bumiputera buyers, interest-free instalments up to 36 months and security services.
“Mapex, being a one-stop-centre, has helped many to own properties. Though the market has been slow, this should be viewed as an opportunity by house buyers to get the best pick of the houses for the best price,” she explained..
In addition, Jenny encourages the guests of Mapex 2016 to take advantage of savvy mortgage packages, as reflected in the event’s theme: “Home Ownership Through Smart Financing”.
Meanwhile, she revealed that REHDA is holding discussions with Bank Negara Malaysia to persuade commercial lenders to be more flexible when approving housing loans, especially for first-time buyers.
