PKNS Targets RM17.2mil Sales In Year End Campaign

17 Dec 2020

The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) eyes to sell 27 housing units valued at RM17.2 million during its 48-Hour Must Buy Year End 2020 campaign.

PKNS Chief Operating Officer Suhaimi Kasdon expects the weekend promotion to further boost property sales on the back of the new normal.

“The promotion campaign, the seventh in the 48-Hour Must Buy series and the last for this year, is aimed at getting more buyers to make appointments to see PKNS sales executives to choose their dream homes,” he said as quoted by Bernama.

“It is quite special as PKNS is including three new housing projects, namely Puteri Aira in Kota Puteri Rawang, Saira in Port Klang and Aurora Residence in Cyberjaya for sale.”

Aside from the exemption on legal fees for the sale and purchase agreement and on stamp duty for the memorandum of transfer, PKNS will also be offering ‘smart home’ voucher and interior decoration packages worth over RM15,000, said Suhaimi.

Buyers will be spoilt for choice as the 25 property projects include, among others, exclusive apartments, two-storey semi-detached homes and three-storey semi-detached homes priced from RM440,000 to RM900,000.

Suhaimi revealed that the six previous 48-Hour Must Buy campaigns held from November 2019 to September this year have been successful, with sales totalling RM58.6 million.

On the pandemic’s impact on PKNS project, Suhaimi said the company’s property sales had not been significantly affected compared to last year.

Looking ahead, he said PKNS is committed to selling 851 property units next year worth almost RM500 million even as the Covid-19 pandemic is not yet over.
