Tanjung Sepat is a town located in the district of Kuala Langat in the state of Selangor. It is located along the Strait of Malacca. Tanjung Sepat is primarily a fishing town where most of the residents there have some kind of connection to the fishing industry. Furthermore, Tanjung Sepat is well known locally for its numerous seafood restaurants with the most famous dish being the seafood steamboat, perfect for the seafood lovers.

Tanjung Sepat is accessible via bus or driving. There are little bus stops in Tanjung Sepat and that makes driving to Tanjung Sepat more convenient for vehicle owners. Tanjung Sepat is located about one and a half hour drive from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

For those who loves to admire the beauty of nature, there is a beautiful scenery of tress on the beach during the low tide. There used to also be a Lover’s Bridge in Tanjung Sepat. However, it was torn down. Visitors can also head over to the Gano Mushroom Farm Shop & Homestay where they can learn more about different types of mushrooms as well as stock up and fresh mushrooms, pickled and dried mushrooms, healthy mushroom-based drinks and other products at reasonable prices. Moreover, they offer a homestay for those who wants to spend more time in this small fishing town. Other tourist attractions nearby the fallen Lover’s Bridge include Qing Ren Qiao Cultural Street and Kuan Wellness Eco Park.

Tanjung Sepat is also well known for its local delicacies. As mentioned before, Tanjung Sepat is a fishing town and therefore the fishing town is well known for its numerous seafood restaurants, perfect for seafood lovers. One of the most famous dishes available in Tanjung Sepat is the seafood steamboat. Many know Bak Kut Teh as a dish that only contains pork. Some places serve chicken Bak Kut Teh. However, what makes Tanjung Sepat special is that there is a famous restaurant called Restoran Ah Hock Tanjung Sepat Bak Kut Teh that serves seafood Bak Kut Teh which contains fish fillets, prawns, squid and pork belly. In addition, Tanjung Sepat is also well known for its Tanjung Sepat Pau namely Hai Yew Heng Meat Pau and Mui Choy Pau. Another place that serves delicious pau is Mr Black Home Made Pau which serves paus with unique flavours such as Chicken Rice Wine Pau and Deep Fried Golden Char Siew Pau. For the coffee lovers, they can go visit Kwo Zha B Coffee and Joo Fa Trading for their coffee products.

Despite being a fishing town, there is no lack in supermarket amenities for the inhabitants of Tanjung Sepat to get the basic daily necessities and those supermarkets include 99 Speedmart, Pasar Awam Tanjung Sepat, Pasaraya Grand Union and many more. However, there are no shopping malls in Tanjung Sepat.

Apart from those, there are also a lot of schools in Tanjung Sepat which makes the town a suitable place for growing families to live in and those schools include Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Tanjung Sepat, Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjung Sepat, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tanjong Sepat, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Batu Laut as well as Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Tumbuk.
